Pekara Bistro’s Downtown Champaign location at 116 N Neil Street has closed, per the information on their Facebook page. Their location at Springfield and Prospect remains, which opened in 2018 as an expansion of their presence here in C-U. This news arrives on the same day as Bossa Nova, another downtown cafe, announced they would also be closing.

There’s been more movement on that block of Downtown Champaign as well, considering Aroma just recently moved in with Cowboy Monkey up the street.
