Now, the American Football house is owned by those who made it legitimately famous.
The house, known for gracing the cover of the band’s landmark debut self-titled album, has been purchased collectively by the band, Polyvinyl Records, Chris Strong (photographer who snapped the legendary shot), Atiba Jefferson, and Open House Contemporary. Located at 704 W. High Street in Urbana, the house will now remain in good hands for years to come.
