Record Store Day 2020 rescheduled for three dates in August, September, and October

Record Store Day was originally scheduled for April 18th, and after initially being rescheduled for June 20th, the annual celebration of indepdenent record stores will take place across three dates later this year. The new dates for Record Store Days (plural!) are August 29th, September 26th, and October 24th.

According to Pitchfork, each day, record stores “will receive a different bundle of exlsuive releases”, and “a new version of the previously announced releases will be available on June 1st.” Record Store Day is typically the biggest sales day for record stores all year long, and was originally wiped out due to COVID-19.

Remember to support your local record shops whenever you are able to: Exile on Main Street, See You CD + Vinyl, and Record Swap.
