The Red Herring‘s Wednesday night Vegan Fusion dinner series is a must if you’re vegan, vegetarian, or just interested in trying something new.
For $9, you get a plate of vegan food (often there is a GF option, too), and it’s almost always quite good. Dinner is served from 5 to 8 p.m. The Red Herring is located at 1209 West Oregon Street, Urbana.
Tonight’s cuisine is Ethiopian, which is the one cuisine that so many C-U newbies ask about. “Is there an Ethiopian restaurant in town?” they ask. “Sadly, no,” I respond.
