After closing in 2021, with no projected reopening date, Royal Donut in Danville is now set to make a comeback with new ownership. Siblings Ben George, Hannah Landis, Sam George, and Holly George will be bringing the donut operation back later this summer. Sam and Hannah, along with their spouses, are the owners of Danville’s Mad Goat Coffee. The businesses will remain separate from each other, though Royal Donut will now be serving Mad Goat Coffee, and you’ll probably be able to find a few donuts at the coffee shop.

The menu and recipes at Royal Donut will remain largely the same as they always have been, so fans of Royal Donut’s eclairs, smiley cookies, nut rolls, and more, should definitely expect to see those favorites once again.
