Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County announced the date and theme for their 5th annual pet home building contest. Each year, build teams of varying construction abilities gather to create a concept and build a habitat for a cat or a dog or other small animal (I know, cats and other small animals don’t “woof”, but they are trying to be inclusive here). The funds raised from the event go directly to building a for real home for a family in our community.
They are now accepting build team sign ups for the September 9th event, titled “Under One Woof.” You can all be from a certain business or organization, or you can just be a collection of folks that want to do this fun thing together.
