On Friday, May 26th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Douglass Branch Library is hosting its monthly Friday Night Jam Sessions for performing artists, with the support of the Champaign County Community Coalition, Don Moyer Boys and Girls Club, and the Champaign County Mental Health Board. All instrumentalists, singers, producers, DJs, and spoken word artists are welcome to showcase their talent, with no required scores, cadences, or lyrics; just remember to bring your materials and instruments. While reservations are recommended and 34 seats are still available, those who wish to enjoy the performances rather than participate are also encouraged to drop by.
