School of Social Work is launching a cultural advocacy art series

The School of Social Work (SSW) at the University of Illinois will be doing a series of open calls for local artists to produce work focused on cultural advocacy.

MFA student Keenan Dailey was selected for the first installment. He created a mural, “Year 401”, that is on display in the entryway of the School of Social Work building. The afrofuturist artist produced a short video about his work. Stay tuned for an upcoming interview and racial justice discussion.

You can read more about Dailey and the art series on the SSW website
