School of Social Work is looking for artists

Last August, the School of Social Work launched a social justice art series titled Elevating Voices: Visualizing Social Justice Through Art. MFA student Keenan Dailey was the first artist selected for an installment. His mural, “Year 401”, is displayed in the entryway of the SSW building.

The school is doing their second open call for artists, and they are most interested in art that represents these groups:

  • Latinx
  • LGBTQ
  • Indigenous people
  • Aging/Lifespan
  • Disabilities (physical or mental)

Proposals should be submitted to Amy Frederick at [email protected] by April 2nd. Find more details on what proposals need to include at the SSW website.
