Next week, a series of film screenings titled “Screening Memories: A Documentary Film Series” kicks off with Watchers of the Sky (2014), which is about Raphael Lemkin’s quest to establish the UN’s Genocide Convention and his lasting influence on contemporary human rights advocates. A roundtable and discussion featuring Mark Micale (History), Mina Sohaj (Theater), and Tim Wedig (Global Studies) will follow the screening.
