It’s the end of the month which means the Literary has finally announced their June event line up. In addition to the usual suspects including their many varied book clubs, this month they are also bringing in four different authors.

On June 4th, Kaighla Rises will be discussing her debut novel Evryn the Light, a fantasy that explores themes of love, self-discovery, and the mother-daughter bond. Rises is also the author of a poetry collection, wellspring.

If non-fiction is more your speed, Gina Johnson will be discussing her book Let’s Make it a Habit: Train Your Brain to Navigate Negativity on June 8th. Johnson’s book breaks down neuroscience and gives practical evidence-based practices that people can incorporate into their daily lives.

Finally, YA authors Catherine Bakewell and Esme Symes-Smith will be hosting a joint event on June 29th. Bakewell is the author of Flowerheart and Symes-Smith wrote Sir Callie and the Champions of Helston, both of which are YA fantasy novels.

Author events are free, but you are encouraged to purchase the book (or three!).
