According to the C-U Citizen Access website:
Twenty-one restaurants in Champaign County failed health inspections in the last six months, with critical violations ranging from improper storage of food to employees failing to wash their hands.
Six were temporarily shut down.
The six that were shut down were:
- Cravings
- China King
- El Charro Mexican Grocery Store
- Rich’s Family Restaurant
- Xinh Xinh Cafe
- Chinatown Buffet
Reasons for the closures are given in the report, but read them at your own risk. It’s pretty damn disgusting.
