As our community navigates this strange era we are living in, Smile Politely will remain a source of information and a space to celebrate the people and and places that make it great. We remain a community magazine, and we are looking for more community members to contribute.
Anyone can write for us; provided you have a grasp of what’s happening locally, and an ability to put words together to express it. We are looking for writers across all of the sections: Arts, Culture, Food & Drink, and Music. Each is a little different in terms of what it requires of a writer. You can follow the links to get an idea of what each section is all about.
Writing for us is going to look a little different right now than it has in the past, as we face the limitations of staying-at-home, but there’s a lot of opportunity for creatively showcasing the community.
