Standing Together for Pittsburgh is tonight on the Quad

From the Facebook event:

For those who have not heard, yesterday there was a terrible attack in a Pittsburgh synagogue, shaking the entire American Jewish community. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims and their families.

To honor their memory, there will be a vigil tonight on the Main quad at 7:45 for the campus community to come together and unite for a night of prayer, thoughts, and action. We welcome all of the student body and greater Champaign-Urbana community to come and pay their respects. Please spread this along to your friends. May we know a day where there is no more hate and we can all live together in peace.

This event is bring organized by Illini Chabad, Illini Hillel, and the rest of the campus Jewish community.

President Tim Killeen, Chancellor Robert Jones and Provot Andreas Cangellaris will be attending.
