Stango Cuisine restaurant expands hours

Downtown Champaign’s Stango Cuisine restaurant has expanded hours to now include lunch service. Five days a week, Stango Cuisine offers a menu of delicious Zambian food: appetizers, entrees, sampler platters, and the best beignets in town. Stango Cuisine first opened in the Lincoln Square Mall food court in 2018, moved over to the Urbana mall’s restaurant space in 2019, and in the summer of 2022, Stango moved to where they are now, sharing space with Wood N’ Hog’s Champaign location.

Before the newly expanded hours, lunch was barbecue by Wood N’ Hog, and dinner was Stango’s African cuisine. Now, it’s Stango all day. Wood N’ Hog still uses the Champaign location but for catering only at this time. So those hungry for Wood N’ Hog barbecue will need to visit the Urbana location on the corner of University and Broadway Avenues.
