MTD and the Urbana Arts and Culture Program invite artists in Champaign County to submit their artwork for Art in Transit. This is the first year for the intiative, that will bring local artwork to bus shelters throughout Champaign-Urbana. The image selected this year will be displayed at the northwest corner of Race and Green in Urbana.
Artwork must be family-friendly, and the selected piece will be formatted to fit the bus shelter, then printed on vinyl adhesive. The chosen artist will receive a $300 honorarium, and will be honored with a ribbon cutting event.
