Sweet Indulgence, the bakery on Windsor Road in Champaign, just celebrated ten years of ownership under Melissa Holste (the bakery has been open since 1987). Holste announced today that it will move to a new location, currently undisclosed, early next year.
Sweet Indulgence will remain open in its current location until January 31st, at which time it will close for a while as everything is moved to the new space.

On December 7th Sweet Indulgence celebrated 10 years in business under the ownership of Melissa Holste. Holste purchased the business in 2007, located at 111. West Windsor Road in Champaign, which has been a staple of the Champaign community since 1987.
Over the past decade, under Holste’s ownership, the bakery has prepared thousands of cakes, pies, tarts, cupcakes, and more. Sweet Indulgence has long been known for its scratch made cinnamon rolls, in addition to morning pastries, a full espresso bar, and more.
Holste announced today that at 4 p.m. on January 31st, the bakery will undergo a short closure in order to move to a new location.
“I’m extremely honored to have been able to serve so many people, and am thankful for the support of the community over these past ten years,” said Holste. “The next chapter for this business is exciting. I have to say that is the people in this community that stop in to visit and trust us with providing them with our cakes and desserts and pastries that make us excited for this move.”
Although the full details on the new location will be revealed later this month, Holste is certain that the move will be a good fit for the bakery and its customers.
Holste says “There is still a lot of work to be done before the big move! Our busiest time of the whole year is right now! We hope you will join us in celebrating one final holiday season in our current location. We are already taking holiday orders! Our sugar cookies are an obvious holiday must-have for many families. We sell so many of those. But I know our tarts and pies make great desserts to bring to any holiday gathering.”

Dec 24: 7am – 4pm
Dec 25-26: Closed
Dec 27: 7am – 4pm
Dec 28: 7am – 3pm
Dec 29: Closed
Dec 30: 7am – 4pm
Dec 31: 7am – 4pm
