Take a look at the new season at Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts

Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts has announced their 2023-2024 season, and it has a wide variety of performances on the schedule for the next several months. They already had Amos Lee on the calendar for October, which is definitely something I’d be interested in. Here are a few others that caught my eye:

  • Bored Teachers Comedy Tour – It absolutely makes sense for teachers to also be comedians. As a former teacher, I know there is so much material to work with. This seems like it would be a very cathartic sort of event.
  • Drumline Live – I love love love the movie Drumline, and this is a show created by the movie’s musical team.
  • The Second City “Comedian Rhapsody” – So many legendary comedians have been produced by Second City, so you know these will always be good.
  • Annie – Who doesn’t love Annie?
  • Red Hot Chili Pipers – Not a typo. This is a rock band with bagpipes.

You can find the full list of performances on the BCPA website. Tickets go on sale August 25th at 10 a.m.
