Take in some outdoor movies this summer

Even before pandemic times, sitting outside under the stars and enjoying a movie on a big screen was a must do activity. Now, if you’re not quite feeling like sitting in a movie theater yet — especially if you have younger kids who cannot yet be vaccinated — it’s the perfect way to get a summer movie fix safely.

We wrote about how vital an entertainment option Harvest Moon Drive-in was in 2020. They are back in business now, and showing movies seven nights a week with increased capacity. You can find more information here. Allerton has been showing movies this spring; they are showing Moana in June.

The Illini Union and Champaign Park District will also be hosting some outdoor movies this summer.
