After being on the market since 2020, the Art Theater, owned by Kraft Properties, is now listed at just under $1 million. That is half of the previous asking price.
Back in 2019, when news of the closing emerged, our Editorial Board pointed to how this loss added to the lack of cultural venues in Downtown Champaign. Hopefully this stirs more interest in reviving the historic space.
Anyone have a mil just laying around, waiting to be used for such a purpose?
