The Spurlock Museum, The Champaign and Urbana Park Districts, Urbana Arts and Culture, and 40 North are collaborating to host The Great Artdoors which award grants to 11 local artists. Each $1000 stipend will be for the artists to create outdoor art installations for the parks and community gardens throughout Champaign and Urbana. The installations must be ready by June 30 and will be available for viewing until the end of November. The proposals are due by midnight on May 15th and you must live in Champaign county to be eligible.
