After the Orpheum Children’s Science Museum closed in 2020, it was purchased by Chicago preservationist Christopher Enck. It’s been renovated and restored, and is ready to be open for a wedding and event space. There will be an open house on Tuesday, February 28th from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. for community members to come take a look at the new space.
Michael’s Catering will be provided light refreshments, there will be live music, and it was be set up as sort of a mock wedding reception to give an idea of what that might look like within the space. The event is free and open to all, but you need to reserve a spot to attend.
