The Bruce Nesbitt African American Cultural Center is celebrating its grand re-opening

The BNAACC has a brand new beautiful building at 1212 W. Nevada, and they are inviting the public to come check it out during their grand re-opening and 50th anniversary celebration. There are a slew of events happening October 4-6 surrounding the theme “Built to Grow: Past Achievements Fueling Beautiful Futures.”

The building dedication is happening from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, then there is a weekend’s worth of activities including a welcome B.L.A.C.K. block party Saturday night. The center is asking folks to register for the events they plan to attend, which you can do here.

The weekend will wrap up with the Black Chorus concert at Krannert Center. You can purchase tickets for that performance here
