The Champaign County ACLU is hosting a panel discussion on the First Amendment

The panel discussion is a part of the chapter’s annual meeting. Here are the details:

“Your Right to Say It!”, a panel discussion on the First Amendment and intellectual freedom, will highlight the annual meeting of the Champaign County American Civil Liberties Union on April 8.

Panel members are Rebecca Glenberg, senior staff attorney at the ACLU of Illinois, and Emily Knox, assistant professor in the School of Information Sciences at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

The meeting gets under way with hors d’oeuvres and drinks at 3 p.m.Sunday, April 8, at Stone Creek Events Center, 2560 S. Stone Creek Blvd., Urban. The program begins at 4 p.m. Suggested donation is $25.

With more than 2,000 members, the local ACLU chapter is one of the largest, fastest growing and most active ACLU chapters outside of Chicago.
