The CUDO Pro Show returns after a six year hiatus

Local designers and design fans are in for a treat on November 4th, when the Champaign Urbana Design Organization (CUDO) Pro Show returns after a six year hiatus.

According to a recent CUDO press release, this event ” will showcase commercial art that is not typically on view in a gallery setting. Instead of paintings, drawings or sculpture, the CUDO Pro Show will feature logos, packaging, posters, brochures, greeting cards, books, T-shirts, signage, typography, photography, illustration, and other examples of creative marketing communication. These artists and designers work in all mediums: print, digital, web, video, animation, and more.”

To be held at the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center (IMC) gallery, located at 202 S Broadway Ave in Urbana, the opening reception, which starts at 6 p.m., will feature live music by A Dream About Cowboys, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. The show will run through November 18th. Get more information here.
