Most of the time you need to make an appointment to donate items to The Idea Store, but this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. they have open donations for your fabric and yarn only. No appointment necessary, and you can bring as many boxes as you’d like. Some insights gleaned from questions on social media:
- A quarter yard or more is ideal when it comes to fabric sizes, but they also like pre-cut shapes, unique scraps, and quilt squares
- Tablecloths and curtains are accepted if they are clean. Curtains need to be flat-paneled and have hardward removed
