The folks at Champaign County Forest Preserve District have marked April 24th as Kickapoo Rail Trail Celebration Day. Meet up with the Friends of the KRT group and associated businesses and groups at the Oakwood trailhead from 1 to 3 p.m. to learn how to get more involved with the development and preservation of the trail. At 3 p.m. there is a three mile run to the KRT trestle bridge.
