The School of Social Work is hosting virtual discussions on poverty

Friday, May 8th and Friday, May 15th the School of Social Work at the University of Illinois is hosting virtual discussions about how poverty affects well-being. Each session takes place from 10 to 11 a.m., and has room for up to 100 participants.

This week’s discussion will feature SSW Community Learning Lab partners, sharing their community responses during this time.

Next week Dr. Ruby Mendenhall will talk about “Factors that Create Systematic Impact on Individuals of Color Health and Community Learning Objective.” This particular session is worth 1 CEU for Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Social Workers, Licensed Clinical Psychologists, and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors.
