Crystal Lake Park is in the midst of a huge renovation project right now, and one of the new additions are these outdoor chess/checkers and backgammon tables, as well as a set up for bags. These plus other new amenities are being added with the help of a $400,000 Open Space Land Acquisition and Development Grant from the State of Illinois.
