If you can handle the heat, you can sign up to be a contestant in Flannel Fest’s hot pepper eating contest. The Champaign Parks District have opened the sign-ups online. The hot pepper contest will be on Saturday, October 15th at 2 p.m. It costs $10 to be a contestant, and a waiver must be signed prior to participation. Register online here if you want to compete.
