In a massmail sent by Chancellor Robert J. Jones today, he indicated that by August 23rd, U of I will drop the COVID testing requirements for students, staff, and faculty that have verified proof of vaccination.
Those who have been fully vaccinated are encouraged to upload their COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card to the MyMcKinley Portal. Those who received vaccinations at CRCE do not need to take this step.
This shift may happen as early as the summer, but until another annoucement is made, the testing requirement remains.
