UI Press just released its fall catalogue, and there are a lot of really interesting and compelling titles. Some books are authored (and edited) by University of Illinois folks, including New Media Futures: The Rise of Women in the Digital Arts, edited by Donna J. Cox, Ellen Sandor, and Janine Fron (08/30/22). Another title of regional interest is Jeff Karzen’s Playground to the Pros: Legends of Peoria Basketball (02/07/2023).
I’m personally looking forward to Rose Marshack’s memoir Play Like a Man: My Life in Poster Children (02/28/2023).
