After taking a year off, the Y’s Dump and Run collection and sale is returning. Beginning August 2nd from 12 to 4 p.m., they will begin collecting items at the U of I Stock Pavillion. After that, you can bring items Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through August 16th.
If you have a bike or a large furniture item, you can request a pick up. Be sure to check out the list of accepted items before you donate.
The sale will happen at the U of I Stock Pavillion on August 18th and 19th, and proceeds will help fund programming at the Y. Not only that, the program keeps 30 tons of unwanted goods out of Champaign-Urbana’s dumpsters and landfills each year.
