Last night marked a finish line for local artist and muralist Langston Allston. After a grueling summer of breathing in spray paint fumes and the aroma of thai peanut oil, the U of I senior invited the community out via facebook to enjoy some freshly charred burgers and cold brews in the alley between Courier Cafe and CoLab to check out the freshly completed mural. It was without a doubt a unique art-viewing, “gallery” experience that was almost derivative of a buzz band music video.
