The Urbana Park District’s strategic plan focuses on four pillars: You Belong Here, Placemaking, Health & Wellness, and Trails & Connectivity. That plan recently won the American Planning Association, Illinois Chapter’s Strategic Plan Award, which “recognizes a plan targeted for a specific area of the community with strategic actions designed to produce change and improvement.”
