Prompting Theater, a local troupe of actors with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with an entry into the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge. Led by Prompting Theater’s founder and director Brian Hagy, an employee of DSC, Behind the Scenes, offers a “five-minute romp looking at the 25 year history of the troupe of actors with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Showing how current rehearsals work to showcasing the history of the troupe, and perhaps all through the mind of one of the actors, the film creatively tackles the challenges posed in this year’s competition through comedy and narrative.”
