As part of the University of Illinois’ Homecoming celebration this year, 40 North asked ten artists to decorate a wooden Block I. They were displayed in businesses in C-U; perhaps you saw them while you were out and about a few weekends ago.
Now, 40 North is auctioning them off, and you can bid on one (or more). Bids for each piece begin at $300, and you can buy one outright for $500. All proceeds benefit 40 North’s programming.
