If you are looking for a volunteer opportunity for yourself, your family, or a group that you are involved with, here’s a great way to be involved in the community. Keep Champaign Beautiful is hosting America Recycles Day @ Boneyard Creek on November 10th. They are currently asking those wanting to participate to pre-register so they can plan for the day. Here’s what you need to know:
- Saturday, November 10, 2018, 10 a.m. to Noon. Meet at the north end of the North First Street Parking lot next to Prosperity Gardens at 302 N. First Street.
- A free pizza lunch will be provided.
- Wear sensible shoes
- The City of Champaign will provide gloves, buckets, and pick-up sticks.
