You can learn all about maple sugaring this month

No, we are not Vermont, but we do have a sugar maple grove just a short ways down the road at Homer Lake Forest Preserve. On February 22nd or 29th, you can learn all about the science and history of maple sugaring, then try it yourself and take home a little sample. 

There are two time slots on each day, but space is limited so sign up soon if you’re interested. It’s appropriate for all ages, and just $5 a person. 

Register for February 22nd times by February 21st:

February 22nd 10-11:30 a.m.

February 22nd 12:30-2 p.m. 

Register for February 29th times by February 29th:

February 29th 10-11:30 a.m.

February 29th 12:30-2 p.m.
