Even though the U.S. Men’s team failed to make the cut, the World Cup is a pretty exciting sporting event to watch. The enthusiatic announcers, hardcore fans, ridiculous flops, and also the major athleticism on display, make for an entertaining summer distraction. It’s even more fun to watch with a group of people.
The Illini Union Courtyard Café will be showing the games, plus there will be prizes and food. The first game will be Thursday at 10 a.m. between Russia and Saudi Arabia.
