In the past, Lincoln Square Mall has been an easy target for jokes about churches, mall walkers, and the death of the American mall. All of that has changed in the last couple years.
You can now even find the mall on Instagram and TikTok, under the handle @lincolnsquaremall. It’s run by entrepreneur Judy, who is opening a business in the mall. She’s done an incredible job of sharing posts from LSM and nearby Urbana businesses and showcasing the events that happen within the mall, like last fall’s Ikebana Harvest of Flowers exhibition.
