Friday Night Live 2019 kicks off next Friday, May 31st, and Mayor Deb Feinen has designated a Downtown Festival District to coincide with the occasion. As you may remember, there was going to be a tryout of sorts for this at the last FNL of 2018, but the weather was terrible and the event was cancelled. So here we go for round two. As with the last time around, there are guidelines. You can’t just grab a drink anywhere and walk out the door with it.
- Downtown establishments can choose whether or not to participate. Those that do, will provide you with a wristband and plastic cups for your to-go beverage.
- You must stay within the boundaries of the district (shown below), and this will only last between the hours of 5 and 9 p.m. Friday Night Live is from 6 to 8 p.m.
- You can’t BYOB or whatever else you drink. This should be obvious, but there’s always someone.
