Common Ground Food Co-op‘s 4th annual Ice Cream Social took place last Saturday afternoon. The event is a fundraiser for the Eastern Illinois Foodbank, and this year’s target was to raise enough money for 10,000 meals. (A donation of $1 bought 6 meals, $5 bought 30 meals, $10 bought 60 meals.) In addition to Kilgus Farmstead ice cream, organic toppings, and vegan options, there was entertainment for adults and kids alike.
