If you attended the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign or just happened to spend a lot fo time near campus over the last forty-or-so years, then your ears were likely graced by the music of Sue Wood. Dr. Wood of Philo, who recently passed away at the age of 85, served as the Chimesmaster of Altgeld Hall, playing the carillons there and filling generations of students lives with music as they passed to and from class. This Sunday, Nov. 10, from 3 to 3:30 p.m., the chimes at Altgeld will ring in memoriam for Dr. Wood. Head over to Altgeld, or simply hang around the Quad or Alma Mater to hear the concert.
