Magelli Office of Experiential Learning connects companies with business students

The Magelli Office of Experiential Learning is a part of the Gies College of Business, and it’s an opportunity for area businesses to engage U of I business students in problem solving efforts.

Groups of 5-6 students are paired with a business over the course of the semester, and the groups work to solve issues involving Strategy & Growth, Marketing Strategy, Financial Modeling, and Data & Technology, and will also tackle challenges that businesses might be facing in this era of COVID.

Businesses that sign on will be committing to an hour a week over 12 weeks to provide feedback and guidance.

The program is currently taking applications for the fall semester. If your business has a project idea in mind, you can submit that proposal here.
