Got kids who are due for a check up? Might as well get it done for free at “Give Kids a Smile Day.” This is a pretty amazing service that Parkland’s dental hygiene clinic offers annually. Kids ages 1-17 are eligible, and they can receive a cleaning, fluoride treatment, and exam. There will also be educational activities.
The event is happening from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. in room L148, and no appointment is necessary.
Such a great service, especially as a resource for families who may not have good, or any, dental coverage, that could help prevent more costly dental situations down the road.
