Fourth Annual CU Jazz Festival
October 25-28, 2018The Champaign-Urbana Jazz Festival is pleased to announce the Fourth Annual CU Jazz Festival taking place October 25-28, 2018.
Kicking off the weekend is the Krannert UnCorked 5pm and a brand new collaboration with the Sudden Sounds series featuring the Gray-Wilkerson-Ra Trio, 730pm.
Then head on over to the VandoJam featuring guest Sharel Cassidy, Iron Post at 9 pm.Friday will see the Fat Babies from Chicago in a Roaring 20s Party with a dance lesson and demonstrations. All level listeners and dancers should come!
Local favorite, Old Styles Sextet heats up the Iron Post on Fri Oct 26 8pm bringing back some familiar faces and swinging tunes.
Saturday features Bloomington native, now living in New York, Adam Larson Group at 8pm
And don’t forget the festival favorite, the Sunday morning Jazz Brunch, which features Chip Stephens and Glen Wilson at the new 25 O’Clock Brewery at 11am.

Saturday 1pm, Young Artist Series
5pm, Composer Workshop premiering new works with professional house band.
Thursday 3pm- Jazz Lecture at the Osher Lifelong Learning Center and a Sunday Library concert.
