URBANA RESTAURANT WEEK RETURNS; NOW IN ITS THIRD YEAR

URBANA, Il.—Taking place March 2–8, the third annual Urbana Restaurant Week is a seven-day celebration of Urbana’s restaurant scene, developed to showcase the diverse range of eateries the town has to offer. Special prix fixe menus will be offered only during the event at each of the participating restaurants. Offering a combination of $10, $20 and $30 options, the menus give diners a chance to try dishes they’ve never had before, or enjoy old favorites for a great value.

The participating restaurants are all located in Urbana, and are locally owned and operated. This event is facilitated by the Urbana Business Association.

Participating restaurants to date include Attie’s Bar and Grill, The Bread Company, Café Zojo, Courier Café, Dancing Dog Eatery and Juicery, Milo’s Restaurant, Piato, Po’ Boys, Silvercreek, Siam Terrace and Sitara.

The UBA also encourages diners to take to social media while participating in Restaurant Week, and to use the hashtag #eaturbana to share their pictures and experiences during the event.

“When we began this event in 2013, we were overwhelmed by the positive feedback we received from both the restaurants and diners alike,” said Cynthia Chandler, executive director of the UBA.

“We are proud to bring this event to the city of Urbana for the third year now, and we’re honored to be able to showcase the fantastic and diverse array of eateries in our community. We encourage diners to go out and try something new!”
