In a year when everything looks different, the 50th anniversary of the Taste of C-U will follow suit. Rather than gathering in the park, the Champaign Park District will highlight participating establishments and encourage the community to go visit for a taste. Here is the event description:
Taste of Champaign- Urbana is celebrating 50 years! The party is still going to go on….but now for a whole week, and virtually! Taste will still be about food, music, and arts, but like any good party, it’s more fun with surprises. Mark your calendar so you don’t miss the fun of us spotlighting your business and encouraging our community to support you!
So what does a virtual Taste of CU look like? This year instead of vendors setting up for us in the park, we are going to send people straight to you! Each participating vendor will get a write-up about their business, signage to show their participation, and inclusion in our virtual Taste guide. Each day on all Champaign Park District digital platforms we will showcase different vendors encouraging our community to go have a Taste at their establishment!
