Per an announcement made today by Urbana Business Association, the annual Uncork Urbana Wine Festival, which was slated to take place on June 6th, has been postponed. This year’s festival was scheduled to take place at Meadowbrook Park, and at this point in time, they have not announced when the new date will be if they plan to reschedule it.
UNCORK WINE FESTIVAL POSTPONED IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19
URBANA, IL – The Urbana Business Association is postponing Uncork Wine Festival that was to be hosted Saturday, June 6 at Meadowbrook Park.
The health and safety of our guests, the Urbana-Champaign business community, and our staff is of utmost importance and is our top priority. Currently we are assessing each event individually and we will be complying with the shelter in place order, recommendations from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District as the COVID-19 situation evolves.
